Pre-fitness Training Cardiac Risk Assessment

Where clinically appropriate, people preparing to begin or significantly increase an exercise programme can undergo assessment including clinical history, examination and appropriate cardiac testing.

Secondary Hypertension Screening

Secondary Hypertension Assessment

When high blood pressure occurs at a younger age, is particularly severe or remains difficult to control, further investigation may be appropriate.

Assessment can include 24-hour blood pressure monitoring, echocardiography and additional investigations to identify potential underlying causes and assess the effect of hypertension on the heart.
